Storm Signal No. 1

1. I learned that an area is under storm signal no. 1 when winds of 30-60 kph may be expected in at least 36 hours or intermittent rains may be expected within 36 hours.
2. I want to know more about the causes and effects of storm signal no. 1.
3. I would like to research on the different precautionary measures that I can be used when our area is under storm signal no. 1.
4. I appreciate the fact that there is a weather agency in the Philippines (PAGASA) that informs the countrymen when there is a storm forming near the country and announces the areas that are under the storm signal no. 1.
